This initiative offers a $1,000 one-time grant, which is paid directly to landlords, helping to alleviate the financial burdens on families and reduce the risk of eviction. By providing timely assistance, Fixing Fathers aims to create a stable living environment for families to thrive.

Fixing Father’s Sustainability Initiative

At Fixing Fathers, our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of our operations. We prioritize the use of recycled paper for all printing and office supplies, and have implemented a comprehensive recycling program with dedicated bins for paper, plastic, and electronic waste.

Fixing Fathers, Inc. Reentry Assistance Program

The Fixing Fathers, Inc. Reentry Assistance Program is dedicated to supporting youth with immediate needs as they transition back into their communities after experiences of incarceration, homelessness, or family issues. Our comprehensive program offers essential items and services such as Uber and Lyft rides for transportation, deodorant, soap, socks, toilet paper, clothing, sneakers, and shoes. Additionally, we provide bicycles for mobility, job workshops to enhance employment opportunities, and food support to ensure no young person goes hungry. By addressing these critical needs, we aim to empower youth to rebuild their lives and achieve a stable and successful future.

Fixing Father Child Support Grant Program

The Fixing Father Child Support Grant program is a unique initiative aimed at helping fathers who are in arrears and struggling to meet their child support obligations. This program is designed not just to alleviate financial burdens but also to educate, motivate, and restore dignity to fathers caught in this challenging situation.

100 CHESS SET GIVE AWAY

FLY GUYS BOOK CLUB

The Fly Guy’s Book club was started in 2017.  It is a spinoff from the Fly Girl’s Book club created by Tanisha Thomas Asbery.  Each month a book is chosen and members aging from 8 – 14 are expected to read and come to the meeting prepared to discuss. THE DAVID LEE SHOW

The David Lee Show is a podcast that focuses on relationship issues that fathers, mothers, and children face. Some of the issues that we will talk about are custody, child support, divorce, dating, separation, and marriage. The show was created in 2017 and is looking for followers, subscribers and sponsors to help expand its footprint. GET ON THE BUS” HBCU COLLEGE FAIR

For the past three years, Mettle Entertainment Group & Fixing Fathers Inc., have exposed our students in Connecticut to the HBCU Malcolm Bernard College Fair in New York City.  In 2016, this program started with 14 students and has grown to be our signature event.  In 2017 our 55 passenger bus was filled to capacity.  In 2018 we filled two buses with parents and eager college bound students. On November 16th, 2019 we are doing it again. We have created a new program called Impactful Cuts.  We understand the importance of grooming and we want to provide our men (Our Kings!) with a no cost solution.  For our young men, ages 10 – 20 and our older men ages 21 – 45 we will be offering you a day of grooming.  A day of self-care.  A day just for you!  The wonderful thing about this is that this day of grooming is absolutely FREE.  The only thing that you will have to do is make an appointment (no walk-ins) and show up.   If you are interested or if you are in need for a cut for that big interview or that new lady friend.
