Fixing Fathers Spare Change Recipient

Rounding out our Fixing Father’s Pocket Change and Brenda Lang Thomas “Eyes on the Prize”Scholarship recipients for the 2022-2023 year is Mr. Joshua Green!

Hailing from the DMV area, Mr. Green has always had a desire to understand the intricacies of life and living and wants to be able to contribute to the medical treatments and the quality of life for African Americans. As such, he will be majoring in Bioengineering at THEE North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University in the Fall of 2023.

Mr. Green has aspirations of being an innovator and contributing to the STEM world in a way that would be beneficial and impactful. More importantly, he hopes to make a change in the African American community for the underserved and bridge the gap in healthcare disparities. Last, he would like to evolve into a role model and mentor for African American youth inspiring them to pursue careers in the STEM field.
