Yesterday, Bruce and I had the honor of presenting at the Reentry program in New Haven at the United States District Court of Connecticut.

The energy in the room was inspiring. Together, we connected with the men in the program, sharing stories, insights, and support. It was incredible to see them feel valued and inspired by the discussions we had. It was such a pleasure to hand out the new Fixing Fathers gift boxes—we brought T-shirts, my book, Bruce’s book, Fixing Fathers pins, information about our organization, and $50 Walmart gift cards. The gratitude they showed reminded us why this work is so important.

Through our presentation, we focused on showing that fatherhood isn’t about being perfect; it’s about being present, leading with love, and committing to growth. 

Bruce’s contributions were invaluable. His experience navigating fatherhood within the court system added a powerful depth to the conversation. His insights and wisdom resonated with so many in the room, offering both guidance and hope.

This partnership is all about creating meaningful change, and yesterday was a clear example of that. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share, listen, and be part of this important work.
